We are excited to invite you to participate in our awesome upcoming virtual event, “Eclipse Connection: Building Community Amidst the Shadows” on April 8th, 2024 from 10:06 AM to 12:21 PM.

One of our amazing donors is offering eclipse viewing glasses to be delivered to you before the upcoming solar eclipse on April 8th. An eclipse is a rare and beautiful celestial occurrence, and can be a powerful inspiration to reflect and engage with each other. Mindful conversation is a catalyst for awareness and community engagement; both of which are key in our shared mission to end homelessness in Los Angeles. Each order will come with provocative conversation starters for you to share. 

The process is simple!

Place Your Order: Fill out and submit the attached order form for eclipse viewing glasses and our ‘Shadow Storytelling’ conversation guide! Make sure to order by 4/1 to receive your glasses by 4/8. Order multiple pairs for yourself, friends, family, coworkers, teammates and neighbors!

Share the Experience: On the day of the eclipse, put on your viewing glasses starting at 10:06 AM and head outside to witness this extraordinary event. Use our conversation guide to engage those around you in discussions about the eclipse and its significance, and share reflections. Share your viewers with those close to you, and/or extend them to strangers to make new connections. 

Spread the Word: Share your eclipse experience using the hashtag #TGSEclipseConnection to connect with others who are participating. Encourage your friends, family, and followers to join in the conversation and share their own eclipse stories. We will simultaneously repost everything on our platforms!
